SBS Wins Prestigious Award at the 2018 Road Transport Ceremony
Safe Business Solutions Ltd (SBS) is proud to have been awarded a prestigious trophy for “Outstanding Contribution in Health & Safety to the NZ Transport Industry” at the Road Transport Awards, with judges praising SBS’s commitment to delighting clients and providing exceptional products and services based on innovation and quality.

“The 2018 New Zealand Road Transport Industry Awards, held at a gala dinner in Dunedin, were a celebration of old-fashioned community spirit and innovation in the industry,” said Road Transport Forum Chief Executive Ken Shirley.
Awarding the trophy to SBS at the annual Road Transport Forum industry ceremony, RTF judges said “SBS was recognised for their E-Text health and safety system. The E-Text system was acknowledged by nominators as an effective and efficient way for staff to communicate health and safety issues across an organisation that relies on a mobile workforce”. The judges also singled out SBS for exceptional customer service provided by their team.
“It’s a great honour to be recognised with this award”, said Rob Thomson, General Manager of SBS, who along with co-Director and Health & Safety Consultant Marty Crafar was part of the team to receive the accolade at a black tie gala dinner held in Dunedin last month. “Outstanding Contribution in Health & Safety to the NZ Transport Industry is what we aspire to. This award is a testament to SBS’s incredible growth, our passionate team who deliver top-class solutions to a New Zealand client base of loyal customers, and our strong focus on innovation and great customer service.”
The award, which was contested by thirteen other short-listed companies from around New Zealand, pitched SBS against other major contender companies – many of whom had in-house Health and Safety teams. SBS was distinctly recognised for its fresh, practical and innovative solutions to health & safety and human resources compliance requirements.
